Cargo Bridge Walkthrough

Cargo Bridge is a physics game that places you in the role of a structural engineer. Cargo Bridge features cartoonish graphics, simple controls, and twenty-four levels.

The objective of Cargo Bridge is to build bridges for the workers to cross so that they may transport cargo to its destination. You have a limited amount of funds to complete this task, and the amount of money that you have left after designing your bridge will be your score for the level if your bridge works. Your progress is automatically saved so you can continue from where you left off the next time that you play.

Cargo Bridge uses the mouse as its control device. To design your bridge, you must enter design mode by clicking the left-most button in the upper-left corner of the screen. There are two types of bridge elements available in this physics game: walks, which your workers will walk over, and connectors, which cannot be walked over but are cheaper and are used as support. To select the type of element that you wish to place, simply click on its icon to the right of the screen. Click and drag to place spans of walks or connectors. The first level of this physics game serves as a tutorial for you to practice these controls. You may also click the question mark ('?') button in the upper-left corner of the screen for more help should you need it.

In order to master Cargo Bridge, it is important to balance your funds and the items that you use when constructing bridges. Minimize the number of items (especially walks) that are used to save as much money as possible. If you cannot make it past a level, it may help to look at pictures of real bridges for inspiration. I have found that using a combination of walks and connectors to construct suspension bridges works on many levels of this physics game.

Cargo Bridge is a challenging physics game that will test your imagination and resourcefulness. Remember,t hat if this physics game is too much of a brain-drain for one sitting, your progress is automatically saved so you can continue after taking a break!
